The Outgoing Announcement
Once you've established a connection with the answering system, you can change your outgoing
announcement from another touch tone phone away from your home or office.
You can work with your outgoing announcement any time after the system has given you the 1-beep signal
to indicate that it is ready to accept a command.
Changing Your Outgoing Announcement
1.
Press and release 7.
2.
After you hear a long beep, record your new announcement. Press and release 7.
3.
Your new message will play back automatically so that you can check it.
4.
You will hear 2 beeps to indicate the system has accepted the change.
Room Monitoring
Once you've established a connection with the answering system, you can monitor the area around the
system's base unit.
To activate room monitoring, press and release 8 (ROOM MONITOR), and use the phone to monitor the
room.
After 15 seconds, you will hear a beep. Press 8 (ROOM MONITOR), to continue monitoring, or hang up.
