Taking Fast Forward Movie Pictures (Fast Fwd Movie)

This mode lets you take movie pictures at a delayed frame rate
so that when you play the movie back, the action appears
speeded up.

Playing Back Movie Pictures
• Off ( × 1) is the normal setting for movie pictures (15 frames
memo
per second). Each time × 2 or × 5 is selected, the number of
frames taken per second is reduced to 1/2 or 1/5.
• As movie pictures are normally played back at the rate of 15
frames per second, movies taken at × 2 are played back twice
as fast and movies taken at × 5 are played back five times as
fast.
• Sound cannot be recorded.

Press the Menu/Fn button in Capture mode.
The [
Rec.Mode] menu will be displayed.
Press the four-way controller ( ) to select [Fast Fwd
Movie].
Use the four-way controller (
to choose [Off (×1)], [×2], [×5],
[×10], [×50] or [×100].
Press the OK button.
Press the shutter release button.
Shooting in Fast Forward Movie
mode starts.
Press the shutter release button.
Shooting in Fast Fwd Movie mode ends.
