Taking Fast Forward Movie Pictures (Fast Fwd Movie)

This mode lets you take movie pictures at a delayed frame rate so that
when you play the movie back, the action appears speeded up.

Press the Menu/Fn button in Capture mode.
The [
Rec.Mode] menu will be displayed.

Press the four-way controller ( ) to select [Fast Fwd
Movie].
c
Use the four-way controller (
choose [Off ( 1)], [ 2], [ 5], [ 10],
[ 50] or [ 100].

Press the OK button.
b
Press the shutter release button.
Shooting in Fast Forward Movie mode starts.

Press the shutter release button.
Shooting in Fast Fwd Movie mode ends.
Playing Back Movie Pictures
• Off ( 1) is the normal setting for movie pictures (15 frames per
memo
second). Each time 2 or 5 is selected, the number of frames taken
per second is reduced to 1/2 or 1/5.
• As movie pictures are normally played back at the rate of 15 frames
per second, movies taken at 2 are played back twice as fast and
movies taken at 5 are played back five times as fast.
• Sound cannot be recorded.
