    Adjusting the Viewfinder Viewfinder If the subject through the viewfinder are hard to see, you can –1 –1 adjust the diopter in the range of –3 m to +1 m (per meter). Aim the camera at the bright subject. While looking through the viewfinder, move the diopter adjustment lever to the left or right until the subject appears in the sharpest focus.

    Using the Self-Timer The picture will be taken 10 seconds after the shutter release button is pressed. Press the button in Capture mode to display on the LCD monitor. Press the shutter release button. The self-timer is engaged and the self-timer lamp lights. The picture is taken approximately three seconds after the self- timer lamp starts to blink.
