You can program the automatic door lock feature to
allow the doors to remain locked after you shift into
PARK (P).
To program the automatic door locks:
I.
Close your doors and
turn
the ignition ON.
2. Keep your foot on the brake pedal.
3. Press and hold the driver's power DOOR LOCK
4. Move your shift lever out of PARK (P), then move

Your doors will now lock when you shift out of
PARK (P) and remain locked until you use the manual
or power door lock switch.
To
reprogram the door locks to lock and unlock when
you shift in and out of PARK (P), do the following:
1. Close your doors and turn the ignition ON.
2. Keep your foot on the brake pedal.
3. Press and hold the driver's power DOOR UNLOCK
switch.
4. Move the shift lever out of PARK (P), then move the
shift lever back into PARK (P).
5.
Release the UNLOCK switch.
Leaving Your Vehicle
If you are leaving the vehicle, take your keys, open your
door and set the locks from inside. Then get out and
close the door.
