1. Place the motorcycle on the jack or block.
2. Loosen the axle bolt
3. Loosen the lock nut
4. Adjust the slack in the drive belt by

adjuster as turning toward the left and
right.
5. For alignment of the rear pulley and the
engine pulley, there are reference mark

on the same position, right and left.
Aligning and adjusting the slack in the
drive belt to specification, retighten the
lock nut and axle bolt securely and per-
form a final inspection.

◉ CAUTION OF DRIVE BELT

When the drive belt was bent excessively,
the belt inner cord is broken.
Never bend the drive belt under the speci-
fication of inner or back bend capacity.
