    FAMILIARIZATION THE RECEIVER The digital satellite receiver has 2 Common Interface slots. The front panel gives you the control over the basic functions. The rear panel gives you various connections to connect the audio and video equipment as well as a terrestrial and dish antenna. Ventilation slots in the housing are provided for cooling of the internal electronics.

This appendix also contains a code reference list which gives the program code for most of the know TV, video and audio equipment.
