Turn Off Your Sonos System

Your Sonos Multi-Room Music System is designed to be always on; the system uses
minimal electricity whenever it is not playing music. To stop streaming music in all
zones, you can simply tap Pause All from the Zone menu. To stop streaming music in
one zone, you can simply tap the Pause button on the Now Playing screen.
Your ZonePlayers will remain off until you tap Play to restart each zone or zone group.

System Registration

Registering your music system allows you to receive technical support, Sonos software
upgrades, and several free music service trials. At no time is any of your information
provided to other companies.
1. From the Music menu, tap System Settings>Advanced Settings.
2. Tap System Registration, and then follow the prompts to register your Sonos
Multi-Room Music System.

Online Updates

Sonos periodically provides you with software updates to improve performance or to
add new features. Your music system must be registered in order to receive updates. If
you have not yet registered, see "System Registration" on page 25.
Checking for updates
• If there is an update available, you'll see the message (available) displayed
when you select System Settings>Online Updates from the Music menu. You
can go to the App Store to download the new software update.
