Chapter 1: Setting Up the Sonos® Multi-Room Music System
Step 3: Install the software
If your operating system is Macintosh® OS X, Windows Vista™ or Windows® XP, simply
insert the Sonos System Setup CD-ROM packaged with your ZonePlayer(s) and then
follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the software, configure your
music system, and set up access to your music files.If you don't

future software updates, technical support and access to free music service

Now that your Sonos system is set up, you can add an iPhone or iPod touch to your
Sonos system. Turn to "Add an iPhone or iPod touch" on page 17 for help with this step.

Macintosh OS X® operating systems, you can put the Sonos System Setup CD away in a
safe place and follow the steps below to set up your Sonos Multi-Room Music System.
