Dolby Digital mode (only with digital input) and DTS Surround (only with digital input)
1 Select the input source.
Playback with a digital input
q Select an input source set to digital (COAXIAL/OPTICAL)
(see page 20).

w Set the input mode to "AUTO" or DTS.

2 Select the Dolby/DTS Surround mode.
When performing this operation from the main unit's panel,
press the SURROUND MODE button, then press the SELECT
buttons and select "DOLBY/DTS".
• The following appears on the display.
(DOLBY PLII, DOLBY PROLOGIC, DOLBY DIGITAL, DTS)

• The Dolby Digital indicator lights when
playing Dolby Digital sources.
• The DTS indicator lights when playing
DTS sources.
Set the surround parameter according to the source.
First, press the SURROUND button.
NOTE: Please make sure the "AUDIO" position of the slide switch on the remote control unit.
Use the (left) and (right) buttons to set the CINEMA EQ.
