MIDI Merge

The MIDI Merge function is used to enable or disable the transmission of incoming MIDI data to the MIDI Out port.
This is useful when multiple MIDI devices are chained together, and you wish to pass the incoming MIDI Data on to
MIDI devices downstream from the RP2000.To access the MIDI Merge function, press the Utility button once and
scroll to the left or right until the Display shows Mmerge. Rotate the Data Wheel to select either on or of.

Expression Pedal Calibration

The Expression Pedal on the RP2000 needs to be recalibrated for use after a factory reset has been performed.This
calibration procedure is automatically entered after a factory reset procedure. In the event the Pedal's calibration fails,
or if the Pedal does not function properly, it can be re-calibrated using the Pedal Calibration menu.The procedure for
Calibrating the Expression Pedal is as follows:
1. Press the Utility button and scroll to the left or right until the Display shows pdlcal.
2. Rotate the Data Wheel.The Display shows toe up.
3. Rock the pedal forward to the toe up position.
4. Press the blinking number 2 Footswitch and the Display now shows toe dn.
5. Rock the Pedal back to the toe down position.
6. Press the blinking number 3 Footswitch and the Display will return to the pdlcal screen.
Note: If the Display shows error, an error has occurred and steps 2 through 6 should be repeated.

Factory Reset

This function resets the RP2000 to its original factory settings.This procedure will erase all custom user Presets,
Utility settings, and recalibrate the Expression Pedal.
ATTENTION: Performing this function will erase all user-programmed data. All such data will be lost forever!
Be sure you want to erase the memory and start fresh before continuing with this procedure.
The procedure for performing a Factory Reset is as follows:
1. Press the Utility button once and scroll to the left or right until the Display shows fctrst.
2. Rotate the Data Wheel one notch.The Display reads no yes.
3.This is your last chance to change your mind. Rotating the Data Wheel while the no is blinking in the Display will
abort the Reset procedure.
4. If you are sure that you want to reset all user settings, press the Rhythm button once to make the word yes begin
blinking in the display. Rotating the Data Wheel will reset the RP2000.The display will briefly show reset and take
you to the Pedal Calibration menu. See the section above for more information on Pedal Calibration.
