Chapter 2: Operating the Calculator
You perform a calculation by evaluating an expression. You
initiate an action by executing the appropriate instruction.
Expressions are calculated and results are displayed
according to the mode settings described on page 29.
Expression
Consists of numbers, variables, operators, functions,
and their arguments that evaluate to a single answer.
For example:

Enter an expression in the same order that it
normally is written.

In most places where you are required to enter a
value, you can enter an expression.
Performs an operation such as +, ì, ù, ^.
Operator

Operators require an argument before and after the
operator. For example:
Function
Returns a value.
