Installing an Optional DVD-ROM Drive

Upgrading the Compaq Deskpro EN Series, Small Form Factor
The computer has two external drive bays. The first external
bay contains a preinstalled diskette drive. This section describes
how to remove the CD-ROM drive and install a DVD-ROM
drive into the second external bay.
To verify the type and size of the mass storage devices installed
in your computer, run Compaq Computer Setup. Refer to
Appendix B, "Computer Setup Utilities," for more information.
To install an optional DVD-ROM drive:
1.
Remove the CD-ROM drive if present.
2.
Install two guide screws on each side of the drive.
All screws are shoulder-head screws.
