• Move securing screws 9 (short)
to the appropriate positions on
the retaining plate (arrow)

Attention:
The securing screws of topcase
and retaining plate are of different
lengths: do not mix them up.
– The backrest can be adjusted by
one position.

• Carefully fit the topcase
• Tighten four securing screws 8
(long) in the topcase to the
specified tightening torque
• From this point on, installation is
the reverse of the removal pro-
cedure

Tightening torque:
Securing screws for
topcase ....................................9 Nm
Retaining plate .......................9 Nm
Rear seat .................................9 Nm
