Average speed is always calculat-
ed over the time since the last
"RESET" triggered by means of
the handlebar-mounted switch.
Residual range

Reading in km or miles, depending
on national-market version.
The range is estimated on the
basis of style of riding and taking
the remaining supply of fuel into
account.
Note that the range cannot be
shown accurately if the motorcycle
was placed on its side stand. The
reading is corrected during the
journey.
The display shows residual range
in km or miles.
Also observe the reading of the
fuel-level gauge and the warning
light for reserve fuel level
(
10, 11).

that you have refuelled when
approx. 3 litres (5.3 Imp.pints)
have been added.
