Q. What is the expected average life of a SuperScript
Toner Cartridge?
The Starter Toner Cartridge prints approximately
2,000 pages at 5% black-to-white ratio.
Replacement toner cartridges print approximately
4,000 pages at 5% black-to-white ratio. Actual
page life depends upon your print applications.
Q. How will I know when it is time to change the
Toner Cartridge?
When the output is light, try to redistribute the
toner.
If light print output persists even after redistribut-
ing the toner, replace the Toner Cartridge.
Q. Can other brands of toner cartridges be used on
the SuperScript printer?
No. Only SuperScript Toner Cartridges manufac-
tured by NEC can be installed in the printer.
Q. Can the toner cartridge be refilled?
Do not attempt to refill a used cartridge as dam-
age to the printer may result. Replacing toner
does not account for the fact that other parts of
the cartridge (seals, electrophotographic drum)
have exceeded their designed life.
