External Options

Additional devices can be connected to the computer through the use of external
connectors.

Connecting a Parallel Printer

Connect a parallel printer to the system as follows:
1. Turn off power to the system and printer.
2. Connect the printer cable to the printer port on the rear of the system unit.
Secure the cable with the screws provided.
3.
4. Connect the other end to the printer.
NOTE: Before connecting a printer to the
system, be sure the printer is set up correctly.
Follow the setup instructions that come with the
printer.
