Creating a message

With the standby screen displayed, press
Use the

keys to highlight the To field and press
Press
. The New SMS screen will be re-displayed.
Use the
key to highlight the Message field and press
Key in your message and press
Options menu screen will be displayed.
Press the appropriate key for the required option

Message edit Options menu

Text colour:
Selects the colour of text and background.
With the Message edit Options menu screen displayed, press 1.
Use the
colour.
Text format:
Selects the font size (Normal, Large or Small) and font style (Bold, Italics, Underline or Strikethrough).
With the Message edit Options menu screen displayed, press 2.
Use the
style and press
Text alignment:
Sets the text alignment (Left, Centered or Right).
With the Message edit Options menu screen displayed, press 3.
Use the
Softkey 1.
Paste:
Pastes the text which has been copied onto the clipboard in the Highlight mode.
With the Message edit Options menu screen displayed, press 4. The text on the clipboard will be
pasted.

be added automatically.

When you have created your

entry mode changes in the order
of T9, normal text (ABC) and
numeric (123).

If you display another screen or
receive a call while you are
editing a message more than 1
character, the message will be
saved automatically as the draft
message (see page 43).
O
This function is active when the
text to be pasted has been
selected in the Highlight mode.
You cannot use it when it is
grayed out.
