Creating a short message

To create a short message, use the following procedure.
With the standby screen displayed, press

Enter your message using the procedure detailed from page 33 to page 34.
If you press
at any time during message creation, the Edit menu will be displayed.
Press the relevant key(s) according to the table right.

Normal text entry

Opens the options menu.

Option menu functions

Text colour:
Selects the colour of text and background.
Use the

Text format:
Selects the font size (Normal, Large or Small) and font style (Bold, Italics,
Underline or Strikethrough). Use the

Text alignment: Sets the text alignment (Left, Centred or Right). Use the

Highlight mode: Sets the highlight mode. Places the cursor at the beginning or the end of the
text and use the
highlight mode to toggle between On and Off.
Press CLR to back to the normal mode.
Edit settings:
Sets the write mode (Insert or Overwrite) and Clear mode (Backspace or Delete).
