DISC EJECT (CD PLAYER) (See page 3, figure
D)
• Flip down the front by pressing REL button
CD will automatic eject out when the front is
flip down.
SWITCHING THE DISPLAY MODE (CD MP3*)
• Press the DISPLAY button once or repeatedly
to switch the display in following sequences:
total DIR number /total tracks in the disc
current DIR number/total tracks in the
current DIR
DIR name
ARTIST name
ALBUM name
TITLE name
sound style
clock

SPECIAL FUNCTIONS

Setting the clock (manually)
• See 'SETUP', option 'CLOCKSET' .
Note :
You can select 12 hour or 24 hour clock display.
• See 'SETUP' (page 14), option 'CLOCK' .
RDS clock (auto update)
You can select an automatic update of the clock
via the RDS radio signal.
• See 'SETUP' , option 'CLOCK' .
The transmitted time via RDS can be incorrect.
SMART Volume*
See
'INSTALLATION'
instructions.
To compensate for surrounding noise, this
function automatically increases the volume of
the set with respect to the car's speed. Four
compensation levels can be selected. Level 1
gives a small increase while level 4 gives a greater
increase. See 'SETUP', option 'S-VOL' to select
the level until you find one which suits your car.

To calibrate :
To avoid unnecessary distraction we advise
that this procedure is carried out with the help
of somebody else.
1 While stationary, hold down the 'SOURCE' key
and turn on the set.
2 The set mutes.
Display shows 'RECALIB' and
'50KM/H' (30 MPH) alternately.
3 Now drive to 50KM/H (30 MPH).
Always obey the highway code and current
traffic restrictions and conditions!
4 Once 50KM/H (30 MPH) is reached, press
SOURCE key.
You hear a beep and display shows 'CALIB OK'.
5 Now turn the set off and then on again to return
to normal operation. Level 2 is chosen as default
value for SMART Volume after calibration.
DEMONSTRATION MODE
In this mode, the display shows the main features
of the set.
SWITCHING ON/OFF DEMO MODE
While keeping the DISPLAY key pressed, switch
on the set. Release the DISPLAY key when you
see a change in the display.

the same procedures to switch off the Demo
mode.
