Changing The Headlight Bulbs (Hc50) - APRILIA HABANA 125 - PART1 Manual

Carefully read p. 69 (BULBS).
The headlight contains:
– one parking light bulb (1);
– one low / high beam bulb (2).

To reach the bulbs, proceed as follows:

Remove the headlight metal ring, see p.
56 (REMOVING THE HEADLIGHT
METAL RING ).
CAUTION
Proceed with care.
Do not force the electric wires.

Partially remove the reflector (3).
To change the bulbs, proceed as follows:
PARKING LIGHT BULB
CAUTION
Do not pull the electric cables to extract
the bulb socket.

Grasp the parking light bulb socket (4),
pull it and remove it from its seat.
N
Withdraw the parking light bulb (1) and re-
place it with a new one of the same type.
LOW/HIGH BEAM BULB
N
Rotate the bulb socket (5) anticlockwise
and extract it.
N
Press the bulb (2) moderately and rotate
it anticlockwise.
N
Extract the bulb from its seat.
NOTE
Insert the bulb in the bulb socket,
making the relevant positioning seats coin-
cide.
N
Correctly install a new bulb of the same
type.
