Adjustments and Settings

FOCUS

This shifts the sound-source direction (sound image) upward
and produces clear sound contours.

Deactivates the FOCUS.

Front Surround

This provides three-dimensional sound effects and/or deep,
rich bass.

Item Description
Deactivates both the SRS and TruBass.
Off
Reproduces highly effective three-dimensional sound.
SRS
Provides deep, rich bass using a new technology.
TruBass
(factory default)
Provides both TruBass and SRS effects.
TruBass + SRS

• (WOW) designates a status where the FOCUS is on
and TruBass + SRS has been selected for Front Surround.

Power Control

Power Control provides convenient functions for saving power.

Energy Save

You may use one of the three Energy Save modes to save power
consumption.

Item Description
Does not decrease picture brightness.
Standard
Slightly lowers power consumption while slightly

suppressing the brightness drop level.
Decreases the picture brightness and lowers power

consumption.
Deactivates the screen to save power. To restore the
Picture Off
screen display, press any button other than VOL +/–
and MUTING.
This setting is not memorized by the system.

• You can also select this function using the Home menu
when the input source is a PC.

No Signal off (AV mode only)

The system will be automatically placed into the standby mode
if no signal is received for 15 minutes.

Does not place the system into the standby mode.

Places the system into the standby mode if no signal

NOTE
• Five minutes before the system is placed into the standby
mode, a message appears every minute.
• The system may not be placed into the standby mode when
noise signals are present at the Media Receiver after a TV
program finishes.
