Drilling Overview

Before beginning the boring operation, follow
these instructions:
Make sure the boring head guards are in
place and are free to move up as the boring
head comes down.
Adjust the air pressure on the air regulator to
70 PSI.
Lock the table in the correct position.
Set the depth control to the calculated drilling
depth.
Make sure that your workpiece is firmly
against the longitudinal fence, and use push
sticks to hold it in position.
When ready, press the foot switch to lower the
boring head and start the boring bits rotating.
When the drilling is complete, lift your foot from
the foot switch—the rotation of the boring bits
will stop and the boring head will lift to the upper
position.
To avoid personal injury,
always keep hands and
body away from the spin-
ning boring bits.
