VCR Plus+ Timer Extend

If you set your VCR's clock
manually, it may be fast or
slow by a few minutes. To
ensure that VCR Plus+ records
programs in their entirety, you
can extend recording by 2 or 5
minutes before and after their
scheduled time.

Open "Setup Menu"
Press Menu on the remote control, then
press 4 to open the "Setup Menu."

Select "Advanced Features"
Press 5.

Select "VCR Plus Setup"
Press 3.

Select "Timer Extend"
Press the down arrow until Timer Extend is
selected.

Set "Timer Extend"
Press the right arrow repeatedly to set Timer
Extend to:
• Off — Timer Extend is disabled.
• 2-Min — Programs will record 2 minutes
before and after their scheduled time.
• 5-Min — Programs will record 5 minutes
before and after their scheduled time.
