VCR Plus+ Channel Mapping
The VCR Plus+ Programming
System
®
(VCR Plus+) greatly
simplifies Timer Recording. To
tape a show, just look up its
PlusCode programming
number in your newspaper or
magazine listings, then enter it
into the VCR Plus+ menu.
To get started, you must first
match your local TV channels
to the VCR Plus+ preassigned
channels. This process is
known as "Channel Mapping."

Open "Setup Menu"
Press Menu on the remote control, then
press 4 to open the "Setup Menu."

Select "Advanced Features"
Press 5.

Select "VCR Plus Setup"
Press 3.

Select "VCR Plus Channel Setup"
Press the right arrow key.

Map Your Channels
Using the worksheet on the following page,
determine the local equivalents of the VCR Plus+
channels for your viewing area. You can find this
information in your local television listings or by
contacting your local cable company. Use the Left/
Right arrow keys to move between channels and
the Up/Down arrow keys to select channels. When
finished, press Menu to save and exit.
