You can set the Dual-Deck
VCR to record from the Tuner
(television), Deck 1, Deck 2,
Line 1 (front) or Line 2 (rear)
inputs. The Auto setting will
record whatever is currently
visible on-screen.

Open "Setup Menu"
Press Menu on the remote control, then
press 4 to open the "Setup Menu."

Select "Copy/Record Settings"
Press 2.

Set "Deck 1 Rec Source"
Press 4 to record from one of the following:
• Auto — The current TV View (whatever you
currently see on-screen).
• Deck2 — Tape playing in Deck 2.
• Tuner — Current television program.
• Line1 — Source connected to front line inputs.
• Line2 — Source connected to rear line inputs.

Set "Deck 2 Record Source"
Press 5 to record from one of the following:
• Auto — The current TV View (whatever you
currently see on the screen).
• Deck1 — Tape playing in Deck 1.
• Tuner — Current television program.
• Line1 — Source connected to front line inputs.
• Line2 — Source connected to rear line inputs.
