If a problem occurs ...
The sound of your sound source is hardly intelligible
Possible cause
Is the speech
intelligibility
enhancement out
of adjustment?
Is the receiver still
within the trans-
mitter's range?
Are the microphones
switched on?
Do you use a plasma
TV screen?
The loudspeakers of your TV are muted
Possible cause
Some TVs have a
function that mutes
the loudspeakers
when you connect a
transmitter.
If a problem occurs that is not listed in the above tables
or if the problem cannot be solved with the proposed
solutions, please contact your Sennheiser partner for
assistance.

Solution
Press the "speech intelligibility"
D
button
on the transmitter
until the sound is optimally
adjusted to your needs
(see page 15).
Move the receiver closer to
the transmitter.
Press the "Microphone" button
on the receiver (see page 16).
Make sure that the transmitter is
placed as far as possible from your
plasma TV screen (see page 6).
Solution
Via the operating menu of your TV,
check if and how the muting
function can be deactivated.
Use either a different audio socket
on your TV or use the MKE 800 TV-N
external microphone (see "Accesso-
ries and spare parts" on page 30).
