 Use a vacuum cleaner with a long
crevice nozzle attached to remove any
visible fluff from the upper air flow
openings.
Finally, clean the fluff filters with water.

Cleaning the fluff filters with water

 Wipe the smooth plastic surfaces of
the fluff filters with a damp cloth to
clean them.
 Flush the filters through under warm
running water.
 Shake the fluff filters thoroughly and
then dry them carefully.
Ensure the filters are dry before re-
placing them. Wet filters could cause
operational faults.
 Push the lower fluff filter in com-
pletely and lock it with the yellow dial.
 Push the upper fluff filter in com-
pletely.
 Close the door.

Cleaning the residual moisture sensor

There is a residual moisture sensor in-
side the drum. The residual moisture
sensor permanently measures the resid-
ual moisture in the laundry to ensure

optimum drying results. Over time, de-
tergent residues can accumulate on the
sensor, which may cause the drying res-
ults to be unsatisfactory.
Clean the residual moisture sensor
once or twice a year.
Cleaning the sensor will ensure best
possible drying results.
 Open the door of the tumble dryer.
 Reach into the tumble dryer drum and
behind the perforated laundry de-
flector with your hand.
You will feel the elongated metal resid-
ual moisture sensor on the left-hand
side.
 Clean the residual moisture sensor
with a damp cloth and a small amount
of soapy water.
 Wipe the residual moisture sensor dry
with a soft cloth.
 Close the tumble dryer door.
