Storing Caller List Information in the $
Directory
You can store numbers that are in the Caller List in the directory.
Make sure the unit is in the standby mode.
1 Lift the handset off the base unit and
press (v) or (4) to enter the Calter List. 10 new calls

2 Press (v) or (4) repeatedly to find the TURNER, CINDY
caller you want to store in the directory. 1-234-456-7890

3 Press (+) or (4) to select "Save
directory", and press EDIT (>) (Yes directory
key). »=Yes
If there is no name information for the
caller, "Enter name" will be
displayed.
a) If a name is not required, press (vw)
(Next key) and EDIT (>) (Save key).
b) If a name is required, enter the name
(p. 36). When finished, press (©)
(Next key) and EDIT (>) (Save key).

continue storing other items.
A=Edit b=Save
To return to the standby mode, press (OFF).
eYou can exit the programming mode any time by pressing (OFF).
elf the display shows "Directory full" in step 3, the display will return to
step 2. Press to exit the list. To erase other stored items from the
directory, see page 41.
eYou cannot store caller information in the directory if a phone number is not
displayed.
olf the display shows "Save error" or"No link to base Place on
cradle and try again." in step 3, the item cannot be stored in the directory.
Try again from step 1.
