You can program the following function items using the handset near
the base unit. The display shows the programming instructions. See the
corresponding pages for function details.
Make sure the unit is in the standby mode.
Press (REDIAL/PAUSE/FUNCTION).

bSave directory-|---To store an item in the directory (p. 35).
Ringer volume +...» To select the ringer volume (p. 19).
Program
Press EDIT (>).

PLCD contrast wf To select the LCD contrast (p. 20).
Set flash time -|-- To select the flash time (p. 48).
Save mailbox# ---..-- To store a voice mail access number (p. 42).
Voicemail tone +. To set the voice mail tone (p. 44).
Set line mode =}... To select the tine mode (p. 15).
Set dial mode ....!--- To select the dial mode (p. 14).
Talk switching} -To set the auto talk feature (p. 18).
During programming
*To select a desired function item, press (+) or (4) repeatedly until the
arrow points to the item. Then press EDIT (È) to go to the next step.
olf the handset displays "No link to base Place on cradle and try
again." and an alarm tone sounds, move closer to the base unit and try again.
eYou can exit the programming mode any time by pressing (OFF).
eif you do not press any buttons for 60 seconds, the unit will return to the standby
mode.
