1. Automatic Combustion Control (ACC)

The automatic combustion control system allows you to
VHW WKH ¿UHSODFH WR KLJK VOLGH WKH FRPEXVWLRQ DLU FRQWURO
DOO WKH ZD\ WR WKH ULJKW  VWDUW WKH ¿UH DQG WKHQ PRYH
the combustion air control to the desired burn level.
7KH ¿UH ZLOO DXWRPDWLFDOO\ JR WR WKDW OHYHO RQFH LW LV IXOO\
HVWDEOLVKHG 7KLV DOORZV IRU OHVV LQWHUDFWLRQ ZLWK WKH ¿UH
E\ WKH KRPHRZQHU DQG PRUH HI¿FLHQW XVH RI IXHO ZKLOH
maintaining the desired heat output.
$IWHU WKH ¿UHSODFH EHFRPHV KRW \RX PD\ SUHIHU WR QRW
DFWLYDWH WKH $&& ZKHQ UHORDGLQJ IXHO ,I \RX GR QRW
slide the combustion air control all the way to the right,
the ACC will not be activated.
NOTICE:
If reloading a bright, hot coal bed for longer
ORZ EXUQ WLPH VHWWLQJ WKH $&& PD\ QRW EH UHTXLUHG
Burn dry, well seasoned wood.
NOTICE:
To establish your settings, always begin with
WKH DLU FRQWURO DOO WKH ZD\ WR WKH OHIW WR &/26(' DQG WKHQ
move it to the right for your desired setting.
IMPORTANT!
As you move the combustion air control
to the RIGHT, you will feel resistance about three-
fourths of the way. You must move past that resistance

2. ACC Override
7KH $&& 29(55,'( OHYHU LV ORFDWHG EHKLQG WKH ORZHU
DFFHVV SDQHO 6HH )LJXUH  DQG PD\ EH XVHG WR RYHU-
ride the setting of the automatic combustion air control.
,I WKH $&& KDV EHHQ DFWLYDWHG DQG EXUQ UDWH QHHGV WR
be slowed, remove the bottom access panel by lifting
it up and pulling it off. To close down the air supply for
DQ RYHU¿UH VLWXDWLRQ RU WR VORZ WKH EXUQ UDWH GRZQ LP-
PHGLDWHO\ VOLGH WKH OLQNDJH WR WKH OHIW 6HH )LJXUH

3. Outside Air
NOTICE:
8VH RI RXWVLGH DLU LV UHTXLUHG
CAUTION!
2XWVLGH DLU FRQWURO KDQGOH PD\ EH ZDUP
Allow unit to cool down before closing.
A source of air (oxygen) is required in order for com-
bustion to take place.
1. %HIRUH OLJKWLQJ WKH ¿UH RSHQ WKH ERWWRP DFFHVV SDQHO
by lifting it up and pulling it off.
2. /RFDWH WKH KDQGOH RQ HLWKHU WKH OHIW RU ULJKW VLGH /LIW
the handle up and pull out to open the door (push-
ing the handle in will close the door).
3. Reinstall the bottom access panel.
