1.
The P2608HWL Series includes a DSL cable and a RJ-11 cable. Connect the DSL cable to the
DSL port and connect RJ-11 to Lifeline port.
2.
You need to obtain a regular PSTN Y connector from regular phone shop.
3.
Connect the RJ-11 to one of the output jack on the Y connector
4.
Connect the DSL cable to the other output jacket on the Y connector
5.
Connect the Y connector input port with a phone cable to the wall Jack or line from ISP.

SIP Account Setup

VoIP is the sending of voice signals over the Internet Protocol. This allows you to make phone calls and send
fax over the Internet at a fraction of the cost of using the traditional circuit-switched telephone network.
Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is an application-layer control (signaling) protocol that handles the setting up,
altering and tearing down of voice and multimedia sessions over the Internet. SIP signaling is separate from the
media for which it handles sessions. The media that is exchanged during the session can use a different path
from that of the signaling. SIP handles telephone calls and can interface with traditional circuit-switched
telephone networks.
The Prestige supports up to eight SIP accounts simultaneously. Follow the procedure below to configure SIP
accounts.
