9.4 Reference a dB meter to the output level. Change the input frequency to 55Hz. Verify that
the output level is -1dBr +/- 1dBr. Change the input frequency to 18kHz. Verify that the output
level is -1dBr +/- 1dBr.
9.5 Remove the input signal. Measure the output noise level using a 20kHz filter and
A-weighting. Verify that it is < -88dBV.
10. Input Priority Test
10.1 On the front panel, set the Input A / Input B select swtich to Input A. On the rear panel, set
the Aux Input dip switch to the ENABLED position.
10.2 Apply an audio input to the Input A Euro block connector.
10.3 While the audio from input A is playing, apply an audio input to the 1/8" Aux Input jack on the
front panel. Verify that the audio input to the Input A Euro block connector is muted and that the
audio input to the Aux Input jack is now heard instead.
10.4 Remove the audio input to the Aux Input jack. Verify that the audio input to the Input A Euro
block connector is now heard.
10.5 Remove the audio inputs. Set the Page Mode dip switch on the rear panel to the DUCK
position.
10.6 Apply an audio input to the Input A Euro block connector. While the audio from input A is
playing, apply an audio input to the Page Input Euro block connector on the rear panel. Verify
that the audio input to the Input A Euro block connector is muted and that the audio input to the
Page Input jack is now heard instead.
10.7 Remove the audio input to the Aux Input jack. Verify that the audio input to the Input A Euro
block connector is now heard.
10.8 Remove the audio inputs. Set the Page Mode dip switch on the rear panel to the MIX
position.
10.9 Apply an audio input to the Input A Euro block connector. While the audio from input A is
playing, apply an audio input to the Page Input Euro block connector on the rear panel. Verify
that the audio input to the Input A Euro block connector and the audio input to the Page Input
jack are now both heard together. Return all dip switches to the default positions.
11. Remote Control Test
11.1 Connect a volume control with A/B Select User Interface (Bose
Control input jack located on the rear panel. Set the A/B Select dip switch to the REMOTE
position.
11.2 Apply two different audio inputs to the Input A and Input B Euro block connectors.
11.3 Verify that you can control the volume level as well as switch between the audio from Input A
and Input B using the remote volume control with A/B switch, and that it overrides these controls
on the amplifier chassis.
