Insert the Battery Pack
Before you begin-
• Charge the Battery (See page 11 )
Protection Film
Remove the
Protection Film before use
Tilt Viewfinder upward
Insert Cassette
Insert the Battery Pack
and slide
it up until it locks with a click
These Palmcorders are equipped with the Easy Cassette Eject System so
it is easy to insert or remove tapes, even when on a tripod (See page 7 )

Press LCD-OPEN
to unlock the LCD
monitor, and
swing it fully open
Press PUSH TO CLOSE mark
to close the Cassette
Compartment Cover
Set POWER Switch to
VCR or CAMERA
Slide TAPE EJECT Switch
to open
the Cassette Compartment Cover
Insert a cassette
record tab up,
window side facing out
• Make sure the record tab
is closed (See page 6 )
Camera Recording
When the LCD monitor is fully open, the
Viewfinder automatically turns OFF
Set POWER Switch to
CAMERA

Adjust the Vision Adjustment
Control to your eyesight.
Viewfinder
Press REC/PAUSE Button
to start
recording
Press REC/PAUSE Button
again to
pause recording
Press LCD-OPEN Button
to
unlock the LCD monitor
Swing
it fully open and adjust the
