Installing Batteries in the Remote Control

The remote control is powered by two 'AA' batteries. To
ensure reliable operation, change the batteries about once a
year.
Caution : Batteries installed incorrectly may leak and
damage the remote control. Do not mix old and
new batteries or different types of batteries (for
example, standard and alkaline).
1. Remove the battery compartment cover by lifting it in the
direction shown.
2. Insert new batteries matching the polarity markings (+ and
-) inside the compartment.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
