Disconnecting the negative cable of the 12-V battery

–
Check the throttle cable routing.
Both throttle cables must be routed, side by side, on the
back of the handlebars and above the fuel tank bracket,
to the throttle valve body. Both throttle cables must be
secured behind the rubber strap of the fuel tank sup-
port.
» If the throttle cable is not routed as specified:
–
Correct the throttle cable routing.
Finishing work
–
Install the fuel tank. ( p. 23)

Mount the seat. ( p. 21)
Preparatory work

Remove the seat. ( p. 20)
Main work
–
Disconnect negative cable
