When bit 7 is set to 1, all display buffer contents must be disp!ayed
on the panel before new data can be placed in the display buffer.
It is recommended that bit 7 be set to 1 when 3290s are being µsed
as system consoles or other applications where potentially high
message rates are possible and the user is required to visually
interpret all data sent by the host.

Enter the 6-digit password to allow permanent changes to the 3290 logical
terminal definition table using setup level 3'.
176: BSC Enhanced Communication Option (Configuration Support T Only)
Enter 0. Not applicable to A models.
201: SNA Local Channel Control Unit Address
211: SCS Support
Enter the 2-character hexadecimal control unit address; this information
can be obtained from the system programmer at the host system location.
The host system recognizes this address as the input/output (I/O) address.
Enter a 1 if the LU Type 1 SNA character string (SCS) (3287 Printer with
feature 9660, 3230 Printer, 3262 Line Printer, 3268 Printer, 3289 Line
Printer, or 4250 Model 1 Printer) is used; enter a 0 if not.
213: Between Bracket Printer Sharing
Enter a 0 if Between Bracket Printer Sharing is not allowed; enter a 1 if it
IS.
215: Physical Unit Identification (PUID)
The physical unit identification (PUID) is a 5-character code that identifies
the control unit to the host in response to an SDLC XID command.
If the PUID is not used, enter 00000 for this sequence number in step 8 on
the Initial Customizing Procedure Form.
If the PUID is used, each control unit in a network should be assigned a
unique PUID. The PUID must be obtained from the system programmer
and entered as the response to this sequence number in step 8 on the Initial
Customizing Procedure Form.
