9. How to remove and attach the upper shaft
Preparation: Remove the Needle threading system unit and Needle bar unit.
5. Remove the pulley seal and the pulley set screw
and remove the pulley.
＊Attach the upper shaft from the end of the removed procedure (9.→1.).
＊Adjustment of the Upper and lower shaft timing belt.

6. Loosen tension pulley unit
7. Loosen the ATD drive gear set screw
and move the ATD drive gear.
8. Remove the 4 upper shaft ball bush holder set
screws and remove the upper shaft ball bush holder.
9. Remove the upper shaft.
