Custom Voice Edit
The
internal voices and voices in the custom voice group.

display to select the various parameters within each page.
Many PSR-4000 orchestra voices are actually made up of two sounds "layered" together. Each of these layers
is called an "element".

A name of up to 12 characters can be entered for
each custom voice. Use the < > LCD [ / ]
control to move the name cursor to the various
character positions, then use the
LCD [ / ] control to select the required
character for each position. The
control selects capital letters, the
control selects lowercase letters, and the
LCD [ / ] control selects numbers and special
characters.
WAVE
(except for the DRUM KITS)
Use the
select a wave. The "wave" is the raw sound on which
the voice is based. 2-element voices use two waves.
The PSR-4000 has 450 waves in internal read-only
memory. Waves from custom voices can also be
used.
