Concerning Cassette Tapes
@ Selection of cassette tapes
Cassette tape exceeding 90 minutes
Do not use the following types of tapes in this unit.
Fe-Cr tapes (TYPE III)
This type emphasizes the high-frequency range, making it impossi-
ble to obtain a flat frequency response.
Metal tape without detection holes in the cassette
Recordings will be very distorted. (There is no problem during
playback, however.)
Use a screwdriver or
similar object to break
Tab for side B
To re-record on a protected cassette
Cover the slot with adhesive tape.

Attach tape.
@ Tape slack
Tape slack may cause the tape to break.
Use a pencil or similar
object to take up the
slack.
@ Improper tape storage
in direct sunlight.
