  • Page 32 About Dolby Noise Reduction system Using Dolby NR reduces tape hiss in the high-frequency range. It boosts the level of the high-frequency during recording, and lowers it by the same amount during playback, simultaneously reducing high- frequency interference incurred during the recording process. This system has the Dolby B-type of noise-reduction system.
