Installng the Card
The nterface of Realtek ALC889 Audo Card s PCI-E x1. And you can nstall t to the
PCI-E x1 (PCI_E1) slot only.
Follow the steps below to nstall the audo card, then you can actvate the advanced
functon and enjoy the audo effect.
1.
Turn off your computer and dsconnect the power cord.
2.
Open and remove the case of the computer.
3.
Fnd the PCIE x1 (PCI_E1) slot. Only the PCI_E1 slot supports nstallng the audo
card.
4.
Remove the bracket whch may obstruct the nstalled PCI-E slot.
5.
Gently but firmly nstall the Realtek ALC889 Audo Card to the PCI-E slot and se-
cure the card bracket wth a screw.
6.
Replace and secure the case. Reconnect the power cord to the computer.
