3D Noise Reduction (motion adaptive noise
reduction)
The Parental Control function works in conjunction with
DVDs that have been assigned a rating - which helps you
control the types of DVDs that your family watches. There
are up to 8 rating levels on a disc.
• On : Provides a cleaner picture through noise
reduction (for recording).
• Off : Normal
Use the AT buttons to select the desired item. Then
press the ENTER or _ button.
Press the RETURN or 4 button to return
to the previous menu.
Press the MENU button to exit the menu.
IRE: Short for the Institute of Radio
Engineers, An IRE unit is a relative unit of
measure equaling 1/140th of the peak-to-
peak (p-p) video amplitude.
With the unit in Stop mode/No Disc mode, press the
MENU button on the remote control.
Select Setup using the AT buttons, then press the
ENTER or _ button.
Select Parental Control using the AT buttons, then
press the ENTER or _ button.
