Selecting the Metering Modes
Ne f The camera is usually set to multiple A,
i ; but it is possible to switch to center
weighted [KO] or spot [L+ ]] mode.
{Preparation}
¢ Set the operational mode dial and REC
mode dial. (P25)
1 Press the metering mode selection
button.
* Every time you press this button,
what is displayed changes as shown
below.
[D|(Muttipiey — K Centor weighted) — [= ] (Spot)
EJ: Multiple
Considering the brightness variation on the
whole screen, adjust the exposure
correctly.
KA: Center weighted
Let the subject be centered on the LCD
monitor and set the metering mode.
CI: Spot
Set the metering mode using the spot
metering indication that is displayed on the
LCD monitor.
2 Takea picture.
* The recording method is the same as
in "Taking Pictures (AUTO Mode)".

+ When taking pictures with spot mode [[- ]], it is recommended to use the LCD
monitor.
* When recording in AUTO [[A]] or motion image [[F8]] mode, the camera is
set to multiple.
