Problem
The door opens again after
being closed.
Hot wash cabinet: Risk of in-
jury, take care when opening
the door.
The door is open a fraction
and cannot be closed us-
ing the button.
F433 Door blocked: Remove
blockages in door area. Turn
appliance off and on.
Anti-trap guard: To continue,
open door

Possible cause and solution
If the door is closed with too much force, the Comfort Door
Lock will open it again.
Guide the door into the door lock with less force.
The temperature in the wash cabinet is over 153°F (67°C)
when the button is pressed.
When the door is opened, hot steam and process
chemicals can escape!
Open the door only when strictly necessary.
This is not a fault.
The Comfort door lock has opened the door slightly at the
end of the program.
Open the door. The door can now be closed completely
again using the button.
A protruding wash item is obstructing the door.
Sort the wash items so that that they do not obstruct the
door.
Close the door.
The Comfort Door Lock is blocked.
Try to open the door carefully (without using force) by
pulling on the door handle.
If the door is still blocked:
Open the door using the emergency release.
Close the door and try to open it again using the but-
ton.
If it is still blocked:
Contact Miele Customer Service.
This is not a fault.
The door is locked while the door locking mechanism re-
tracts to the lock position.
Open the door and wait until the door locking mecha-
nism reaches its final position.
