Electrical connection

 Danger caused by improper electrical
connection
All electrical connection work must be
carried out by a qualified electrician in ac-
cordance with local and national safety
regulations.
Ask a qualified specialist to complete the
electrical connection work.
- The electrical installation must be in com-
pliance with current local and national
safety regulations!
- The connection to the power supply must
comply with national regulations (plug and
socket must be accessible after the ma-
chine has been installed). An electrical
safety test can be carried out after any
service or maintenance work.
- If the dishwasher is hard-wired to the
power supply, a circuit breaker capable of
disconnecting the dishwasher at all poles
must be installed in accordance with local
codes.
- If necessary, equipotential bonding must
be carried out.
- The power cord should only be replaced
with an original Miele spare part.
- For technical data, see the data plate or
the attached wiring diagram.
The machine must only be operated with
the voltage, frequency, and fuse rating
shown on the data plate.
This machine can be converted to a differ-
ent type of power supply in accordance
with the conversion diagram and wiring dia-
gram supplied.
The conversion diagram and the data
plate are on the dishwasher or supplied
with it.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

For a grounded, cord-connected appli-
ance:
This appliance must be grounded. In the
event of a malfunction or breakdown,
grounding will reduce the risk of electric
shock by providing a path of least resis-
tance for electric current. This appliance is
equipped with a cord having an equipment-
grounding conductor and a grounding plug.
The plug must be plugged into an appropri-
ate outlet that is installed and grounded in
accordance with all local codes and ordi-
nances.
For a permanently connected appliance:
This appliance must be connected to a
grounded metal, permanent wiring system,
or an equipment-grounding conductor must
be run with the circuit conductors and con-
nected to the equipment-grounding terminal
or lead on the appliance.
