By default, the configuration of the Startup-Manager, the registry settings for the back-
light, the local settings and the LAN settings will be saved by [Backup] in 'Flashdisk
è Backup'. The name of the backup file is "backup.bkv". Which settings will be saved
and the storage location are defined in the file "ToDoList.xml" under 'Flashdisk
è VipaStartup'. These can be adjusted accordingly.
The Startup-Manager will be closed by [Exit] and the system returns to the Windows
screen.
With [Back] you get back to the start screen of the Startup-Manager.
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a technology that uses radio waves to automati-
cally identify objects and people. An RFID system consists of an RFID transponder with
an active or passive tag and an RFID reader. The Touch Panel has an integrated RFID
reader at the front on the left.
The RFID reader will start automatically together with the panel startup. If the reader
doesn't need to be started automatically, remove the RFID reader application with [-] in
the Startup-Manager under 'Autostart è Program Start'.
The position of the RFID reader at the front on the left of the Touch Panel is indicated by
the RFID symbol.
Position the transponder card at a distance of 4 cm from the RFID symbol.
ð The RFID module reads the UID of the transponder card without contact and
outputs this as plain text in an editor (e.g. Wordpad) or any text field.
