USE AND CARE

•
NEVER store a spare gas cylinder under or near
the appliance or in an enclosed area.
•
Never fill a gas cylinder beyond 80% full.
•
If the information in the two points above is not
followed exactly, a fire causing death or serious
injury may occur.
•
Do not put the spare gas cylinder inside the grill
cart. It is only allowed to be put outside the grill
cart.
•
An overfilled or improperly stored gas cylinder is
a hazard due to possible gas release from the
safety relief valve. This could cause an intense
fire with risk of property damage, serious injury
or death.
•
If you see, smell or hear gas escaping,
immediately get away from the gas cylinder and
appliance and call your fire department.
•
Do not store or use gasoline, or other flammable
liquid, or vapors within 25 feet (7.6m) from the
grill.
•
Do not move the grill while it is being used.
•
Always turn off the gas supply at the gas
cylinder after use.
•
Never obstruct the ventilation openings of the
container compartment.
Gas Cylinder Removal, Transport and Storage
• Turn OFF all control knobs and the gas cylinder
valve. Turn coupling nut counterclockwise by hand
only - do not use tools to disconnect. Lift gas cylinder
retainer strap upward off the gas cylinder collar,
then lift the gas cylinder up and off of the support
bracket. Install the safety cap onto the gas cylinder
valve. Always use cap and strap supplied with the
valve.
Failure to use safety cap as directed may result in
serious personal injury and/or property damage.

• A disconnected gas cylinder in storage or being
transported must have a safety cap installed (as
shown). Do not store a gas cylinder in enclosed
spaces such as a carport, garage, porch, covered
patio or other building. Never leave a gas
cylinder inside a vehicle which may become
overheated by the sun.
• Do not store a gas cylinder in an area where
children play.

Gas Cylinder
• This product does not include the regulator and hose.
• The regulator shall comply with EN 16129, and the
length of the hose connecting the appliance to the gas
cylinder shall not exceed 1.5 m (minimum distance is
0.5m).
• You will need a precision-filled standard G30/G31
grill gas cylinder with an external valve threads to
operate.
• You must have the proper regulator and gas cylinder
for the grill to operate safely and efficiently. The use
of an incorrect or faulty regulator is dangerous and
will invalidate any warranty.
Connecting the Gas Cylinder
• Before connecting the gas cylinder, be sure that there is
no debris caught in the head of the gas cylinder,
regulator valve, or the burner and burner parts.
• Connect the gas line to the gas cylinder by turning the
knob clockwise until it stops, making sure the tube is not
subject to twisting.
• The gas cylinder used with your grill must meet the
following requirements:

Gas cylinders with a maximum dimensions of Ø 30
x 59 cm can be used and placed in the grill cart.
Larger cylinders can only be placed next to the
grill.
LP (Liquefied Petroleum Gas)
• LP gas is nontoxic, odorless and colorless when
produced.

• LP gas is highly flammable and may ignite
unexpectedly when mixed with air.
Gas Cylinder Filling
• Use only licensed and experienced dealers.
• The dealer must purge new gas cylinder before
filling.
• Dealer should NEVER fill the gas cylinder more than
80% of gas cylinder volume. Volume of gas in the gas
cylinder will vary by temperature.
• A frosty regulator indicates gas overfill. Immediately
close the gas cylinder valve and call your local gas
dealer for assistance.
