Before defrosting, remove all food and switch off
the appliance. Put the defrosting tray under the
evaporator to collect the melted water.
After all frost has melted, pour away the melted
water, dry the interior of the appliance with a dry
cloth and switch the appliance back on.
If you do not use the appliance for a prolonged
period
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.

Troubleshooting

Problem
The appliance does not
operate.
The appliance is noisy.
The compressor runs
continuously.
The temperature in the
appliance is too low/too
high.
The door does not close
completely.
Possible Cause
The appliance is switched off.
The mains plug is not connected to
the mains socket correctly.
There is no voltage in the mains
socket.
The appliance is not placed stably.
The set temperature is too low.
Many food products were inserted at
the same time.
The room temperature is too high.
Food products placed in the appliance
were too warm.
The door is not closed correctly.
The temperature was not set
correctly.
The door is not closed correctly.
Food products placed in the appliance
were too warm.
Many food products were inserted at
the same time.
The thickness of the frost is greater
than 4-5 mm.
Door was opened too frequently.
There is not enough cold air
circulation in the appliance.

3. Remove all food.
4. Defrost and clean the appliance.
5. Leave the doors open just enough to allow air
to circulate inside the compartments. This will
prevent the formation of mould and unpleasant
odours.
In the event of a power cut
Keep the doors of the appliance closed. This will
allow the food to stay cold as long as possible.
Solution
Switch on the appliance.
Connect the mains plug to the mains
socket correctly.
To find out if the mains socket is working,
connect a different electrical appliance
to it. Contact a qualified electrician to
repair the socket.
Level the appliance. Refer to "Levelling
the appliance", or the separate Assembly
Instructions.
Set a higher temperature. Refer to
"Operation".
Wait some hours and then check the
temperature again.
Reposition the appliance if possible.
Refer to "Positioning".
Allow food products to cool to room
temperature before storing.
Refer to "Closing the door".
Set a higher/lower temperature.
Refer to "Closing the door".
Allow food products to cool to room
temperature before storing.
Insert less food products at the same
time.
Defrost the appliance.
Open the door only when necessary.
Reposition the food so that air can
circulate freely in the appliance.
