Viewing the Control Assignments
When and where to use: This feature displays the programmable radio functions assigned to the controls of
your radio for the currently selected channel.

Editing the Soft ID
Prerequisites: Your radio must be preprogrammed to allow you to use this feature.
When and where to use: This feature allows you to change your username.
Procedure:
1. Perform one of the following actions:

Press the preprogrammed Info button.

or to Info and press the Menu Select button directly below Info.

to Soft ID and press the Menu Select button directly below Sel.
The display shows the current Soft ID.
3. Perform one of the following actions:

Press the Menu Select button directly below Edit to edit the current Soft ID.
●
Press the Menu Select button directly below Back to return to the previous screen.
A blinking cursor appears in the Edit Soft ID screen.
4. Use the keypad to edit the text.
